I don’t know if it’s a international tradition, but in Sweden it’s tradition to make a New Years Eve promise. You might promise to stop smoking (not me), or to be nicer to people (Im as nice as I need to). Things like that.
I’ve been thinking on making some kind of promise. I don’t really want to stop smoking, drinking and such. But maybe, the year 2002 will be the year when I care more about myself. I know I havn’t cared much about it for the last 28 years.
Throughout the years, I’ve only fullfilled one promise. I think I was about 17 when me and a friend promised that we should drink more often. That I fullfilled.
